8-Channel Serial Expander _ NT-BR88N

Description

Product Overview NT-BR88N is an optional serial port expander for NG series structured control hosts, adding 8 general-purpose RS485/RS422/RS232 serial control interfaces. It supports access to the structured host control network via multiple connection and communication methods, with configurable connection policies such as active connection, passive connection, automatic reconnection and device ID binding to suit different network environments. Each control interface features independent optical/electrical isolation, which effectively keeps communication stable, prevents port damage caused by potential differences or static electricity and extends device service life. NT-BR88N also provides dual-network-port switch functions, allowing multiple expanders to be deployed on a single network link in a daisy-chain manner so that the entire link occupies only one network port, greatly simplifying the network topology.
